Truth can be paradoxical. Our inner worlds have more than one voice, more than one opinion, more than one need, more than one desire. When these parts of ourselves are in opposition to one another, we feel torn and confused in a world where clarity and quick decisions are expected.
Identifying your Truth is about honoring all the parts of you, even when those parts feel differently. You can feel angry and deeply in love at the same time. You can feel small and weak and still find the courage inside yourself to act. You can feel lost and lonely and insecure and also feel called from a sense of even deeper knowing of what’s right for you.
We can find Truth within the tension of this paradox; the place of discomfort between opposites, where we can honor the complexity of what it means to be fully human, and finally be honest about what we truly need.
